This two day, hands-on, workshop provides guidance on how to approach, initiate and manage a successful ITIL implementation program. The course is designed for individuals and organizations wanting to learn how to plan and organize the implementation of ITIL best practices including the latest advice from the newly released Version 3. The workshop was developed as a response to frequent requests for more information on real life experience and practical guidance to implementing ITIL. The primary objective of the course is to provide a deeper understanding of IT service management and how to successfully develop and implement a program of continual service improvement. The course draws from both the Version 2 Planning to Implement ITIL publication while incorporating Version 3 Service Lifecycle and Continual Improvement processes and concepts. Implementing ITIL can be tailored to your organization's specific implementation needs. This working session serves as a cost-effective jumpstart to an ITIL Implementation Project. The workshop makes strong use of exercises, lively discussions and presentations to ensure participants leave with both substantial knowledge and skills. Real life templates are provided so you can achieve immediate, tangible results. Some of the topics covered are:
