Overview

The ITIL v2 to v3 Bridge course is a one day overview of the new and modified topics in ITIL v3.  This course updates current ITIL Foundation certificate holders on the recently redesigned ITIL best practices philosophy, from a process-led approach to a service lifecycle approach.  By participating in this course you will discover and examine the key differences and benefits of ITIL v3. While all v2 certifications remain relevant, those candidates wishing to earn their ITIL Diploma must either complete a v3 Foundation course, or the Bridge course, and pass the correlating exam.

You will:

  • Learn how ITIL service lifecycle processes benefit the business by improving IT operations.

  • Review ITIL’s key concepts, definitions, objectives and certification levels

  • Learn about ITIL’s service lifecycle approach and its five key stages
  • Discover the structure, components and processes of each of the five core books in the service lifecycle including:

    • The review of the main activities, goals, benefits,  and challenges
    • Outline of relationships between the processes
    • Learn new key ITIL definitions and terms, and what has changed in V3

Instructors:
Our instructors have years of hands-on IT practitioner experience, enabling them to effectively intertwine theory and real life stories and scenarios. Using the highest quality content, this training style encourages active group participation, allowing all participants to gain a wealth of practical knowledge.

Certification: The Foundation Bridge exam is 20 questions in 30 minutes, leading to the ITIL® v3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management
