From John F Kennedy International Airport:

This airport is located 45 minutes to one hour (18 miles) travel time from midtown Manhattan.

Carey Transportation runs every 20 to 30 minutes between the hours of 5 am - 12 midnight daily from 41st and 42nd Street on Park Avenue. The travel time is 60 minutes. The charge is $13.00 per person each way. Tel: (718) 632-0500.

If driving, take Van Wyck Expressway to Grand Central Parkway and continue north to Long Island Expressway West. Continue to the Midtown Tunnel. Go through the Midtown Tunnel and upon exiting, follow signs to 39th Street and North. Follow to Third Avenue. Turn right on Third Avenue to 42nd Street. Hotel is on the right.

From Newark International Airport:

This airport is located in New Jersey, 45 minutes (20 miles) from midtown Manhattan.

If driving, take New Jersey Turnpike North (I-95 N) and go through Lincoln Tunnel. Outside the tunnel, veer left. Go through approximately 3 or 4 traffic lights. Turn right on 42nd Street. Follow through about 9 lights. Hotel is on 42nd between Third and Second Avenues.

Taxi Cabs

If you wish to take a cab from the airports, estimate at least $25.00 to and from La Guardia, $35.00 to and from JFK and $45.00 to and from Newark International. Taxi lines may be found curbside outside the baggage claim areas of each airport.

From Southern Connecticut:

Take I-95 South to 278 (Bruckner Expressway) to Triborough. Follow signs to Manhattan/FDR South, to East 49th Street Exit. Follow 49th Street to Second Avenue. Turn left on Second Avenue to 42nd Street. Turn right on 42nd Street. The hotel is 1/2 block west.

From Westchester:

Follow New York State Thruway (I-87 South). Eventually, this becomes the Major Deegan Expressway. Take Triborough Bridge. Follow signs to Manhattan/FDR South, to East 49th Street Exit. Follow 49th Street to Second Avenue. Turn left on Second Avenue to 42nd Street. Turn right on 42nd Street. The hotel is 1/2 block west.
